Why are you interested in this area?
As a passionate supporter of business and leadership education, I am proud of my Alma Mater is one of the most outstanding school in the Baltic and Nordic region. I would like to invest my time and dedication into supporting talented students and those who are in need, in order to get the best education, knowledge and friends for life.
Why is the SSE Riga Alumni community important to you?
Why should it be important to other Alumni?
I have graduated from Executive MBA programme in 2008. University provided me with numerous growth and networking opportunities. Even from a today’s point, my experience as a student and an Alumni could be defined as unforgettable – my course mates, professors and staff – I got all the confidence, leadership skills and knowledge to achieve my personal and professional goals and I would like to give back and contribute to the prosperity of the school, student and Alumni community.
I think that a lot of us, who have graduated from SSE Riga and have developed great companies and exciting careers, we are shaped by the experience the school is offering. We capitalize on great education and world class opportunities we got at SSE– therefore Alumni have a strong voice in supporting the school’s development, competitiveness, image and quality of education.
What would you like to achieve in this position?
What would you like to achieve together with the AA team?
I would like to invest my personal time, dedication and business network in the Baltic states, leading a sustainable scholarship & fundraising framework at SSE Riga, ensuring that talented and ambitious students from our region and beyond have an opportunity to pursue their dreams at SSE Riga. I would like to engage into meaningful collaboration companies led by the proud graduates of SSE Riga, thus enriching experience of the students who could look up on their mentors and sponsors as role models and see their career success as evidence of the hard work pays off. Strong AA team, collaboration spirit and energy to drive forward the life of community and the future of our students.
AA team is a leading dedicated driver behind the relationship with Alumni community. AA team should bring together like minded individuals with the passion and purpose to advance the common good, helping to raise the profile of the university and keep the friendship together.
Our role is to strengthen the link between all the stakeholders – academia, school management, personnel, students, potential students and Alumni.
I would like us to achieve that graduates are continuing to feel connected to SSE Riga and associate the part of their identity with the school through events, services, mentoring and career development programs, social initiatives, donations and sponsorship initiatives.
